PRIZE DRAW
Please read these terms and conditions carefully. These terms and conditions (“Terms“) apply to the Cynosure UK Ltd. Picosure prize draw (the “Prize Draw”). You will be legally bound by these Terms from the time you submit an entry for the Prize Draw.
The promoter of the Prize Draw is Cynosure UK Ltd. (“Cynosure“) whose business office is at East Wing, 17th Floor, Chiswick Tower, 389 Chiswick High Road, London W4 4AL.

Opening and closing dates, eligibility
1 The Prize Draw will begin at or around 12.00PM BST on 29th April 2021 – 12.00PM BST on 10th June 2021 and close on or around 5.00PM BST on 10 June 2021 (the “Prize Draw Period“). Cynosure’s computer is the official timekeeping device for the Prize Draw.
2 The Prize Draw is open to all individuals who:
(a) are residents of the United Kingdom;
(b) aged 18 years or over,
at the time of entry into the Prize Draw and,
(c) register for and attend the Good Skin Health and Aesthetics Introduction Webinar of Wednesday 26th May, 6.00pm-7.00pm UK time (the “Webinar”).
3 The Prize Draw is free to enter. No purchase necessary.
4 Employees of Cynosure and its respective parents, affiliates, subsidiaries, and advertising and promotion agencies, and members of their immediate families (spouse, parent, child, sibling and their respective spouses, regardless of where they reside) and those living in their households, whether or not related, are not eligible to participate.
5 Cynosure reserves the right to verify the eligibility of any participant. Cynosure may require such information as it considers reasonably necessary for this purpose.
Entry
6 To enter the Prize Draw, participants must register for and attend the Webinar.
7 Entries must be completed correctly and be received by Cynosure during the Prize Draw Period to be eligible to win a Prize (defined below). All entries posted or received outside the Prize Draw Period will not be included in the Prize Draw.
8 There is a limit of one entry per person.
9 Each person may only enter himself or herself. Entries generated by script, macro, mechanical or other automated means are prohibited and will cause disqualification. Multiple entries made through agents, third parties, organised groups or any entry duplication method will not be accepted.
10 Entries which, in Cynosure’s opinion may be deemed offensive, discriminatory, inappropriate, defamatory or which are unlawful or in breach of these Terms will not be accepted and will be disqualified.
11 Cynosure reserves the right to disqualify any entrant it believes not to be participating within the spirit of the promotion or suspects of participating in any unfair or unjust behaviour. Cynosure reserves the right to use its discretion in all respects and to enforce any penalty or sanction it deems appropriate.
12 Entrants understand that they are acting at their sole risk and that they are solely responsible for compliance with the rules, policies and terms of service of the platform where they are posting (i.e. Instagram).
13 Entries that are not submitted in accordance with these Terms and/or that are delayed, damaged, incomplete, altered, illegible or otherwise defective (or which Cynosure cannot identify due to the removal of the participants’ entry, the suspension or termination of the participant’s Instagram account or their posts being filtered out of Instagram searches) will be disqualified.
14 Cynosure accepts no responsibility for entries that are illegible or lost, delayed, damaged or rendered invalid for any reason beyond its control.
15 Any questions, comments or complaints regarding this Prize Draw should be directed to Cynosure.
16 If at any time you wish to withdraw from the Prize Draw your request should be made in writing to Cynosure at [email protected].
Selection of the Winner
17 One winner will be drawn at random from all valid and eligible entries received during the Prize Draw Period (the “Winner“).
18 The Winner will be selected on May 30, 2021 (the “Draw Date“).
19 The Winner will be notified via e-mail within seven days of the Draw Date (the “Winner Notification“). Participants who have not won a Prize will not be notified.
20 The Winner Notification will ask the Winner to confirm their age and compliance with these Terms. The Winner must respond to the Winner Notification within three days and provide all information requested by Cynosure, including but not limited to a delivery address when requested in order to claim the Prize. If they do not do so, or are ineligible, then Cynosure reserves the right to forfeit the Prize and to award the Prize to an alternative Winner selected in the same way as the original Winner.
21 Entrants are encouraged to monitor their Instagram accounts (including spam folders) during this time in case they are the Winner.
22 In the event a Prize is unclaimed after reasonable efforts have been made to contact the Winner; the Winner cannot accept the Prize; the Winner is not eligible for the Prize or has not complied with these Terms, Cynosure will award the Prize to a replacement winner selected in the same way as the original Winner.
Prizes
23 The Winner will receive a free PicoSure skin revitalization treatment at Cynosure’s Experience Center in Chiswick, London (the “Prize”). The Prize must be used within six months of the Winner Notification.
24 There is no cash or other prize alternative to the Prize, except in the event of circumstances outside Cynosure’s reasonable control, where Cynosure reserves the right (but is not obliged) to substitute a similar or alternative Prize of equivalent or greater value.
25 All expenses not specifically mentioned herein are not included as part of any Prize and are solely the Winners’ responsibility.
26 Prizes are non-transferable and non-refundable.
Publicity and documents
27 The surname and county of the Winner and the Prizes won will (unless the Winner has objected on lawful grounds) be made available on receipt of a self-addressed pre-paid envelope received by Cynosure Cynosure UK Ltd., Attention: Justin Richards, Senior Global Marketing Manager EMEA for sixty days following the end of the Prize Draw Period. Entrants can object to disclosure, or request that disclosure be limited in scope by contacting Cynosure UK Ltd., Attention: Justin Richards, Senior Global Marketing Manager EMEA. We may nevertheless disclose the information to the Advertising Standards Authority if required to do so.
28 Any Winner may be requested to take part in non-paid publicity or advertising relating to the Prize Draw, which may include having their photograph taken for promotional and/or press purposes.
29 The Winner may also be required to sign any additional documentation that may be required in connection with the Prize Draw, such as, but not limited to, consent forms or publicity releases by a date advised by Cynosure. If the Winner does not comply with their obligations in this paragraph, then Cynosure reserves the right to forfeit the Winner’s Prize entitlement and select a replacement Winner on the same basis as the original Winner.
General
30 Any decision of Cynosure is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
31 Cynosure reserves the right to delay, postpone or cancel the Prize Draw and/or amend or alter these Terms in the event of circumstances outside its reasonable control, which it considers make it necessary for it to do so.
32 If there is a conflict in these Terms with any other terms whatsoever attached to any other advertising material in respect of this Prize Draw, these conditions will take precedence.
33 Cynosure accepts no responsibility or liability for (a) any entries which are not received due to the use of incorrect or inaccurate entry information, any faulty or failed electronic data transmissions, or for any other reason; (b) any unauthorised access to, or theft, destruction or alteration of entries at any point in the operation of the Prize Draw; (c) any technical malfunction, failure, error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or communications line failure, regardless of cause, with regard to any equipment, systems, networks, lines, satellites, servers, computers or providers used in any aspect of the operation of the Prize Draw; (d) inaccessibility or unavailability of any network or wireless service, the Internet and/or any website; or (e) any injury or damage to any person’s computer(s) or mobile device(s) which may be related to or result from any attempt to participate in the Prize Draw or to download any materials in connection with the Prize Draw.
34 Cynosure will award the Prize as described in these Terms, but Cynosure accepts no responsibility or liability for the Winner’s use of the Prize.
35 If any of these clauses should be determined to be illegal, invalid or otherwise unenforceable then it shall be severed and deleted from these Terms and the remaining clauses shall survive and remain in full force and effect.
36 Any personal information supplied in connection with the Prize Draw will be used, shared and retained as set out in the Privacy Notice of Cynosure posted at https://www.cynosure.com/privacy-policy/.
37 The Prize Draw and these Terms (including any non-contractual disputes or claims arising out of them) are subject to English law. Any disputes must be referred to the English courts. Consumers in Scotland and Northern Ireland may additionally bring an action in their home courts.
